MMC, the Shenzhen based drone manufacturer, has recently opened to a new state of the art production facility in Bao’an Shenzhen, China to help meet demand as a result of unprecedented growth. MMC’s research in hydrogen technology has led to the first ever commercially available hydrogen-fueled drone, the HYDrone 1800 which holds the record for flight time at 4½ hours. This development, apart from generating worldwide attention, has required immediate improvements within MMC production lines.

MMC’s previous factory, located in BaiShiZhou, an old industrial zone near MMC headquarters was already operating at full capacity and could not absorb production of of the HyDrone 1800. The post launch period led to a quadrupling of orders which vastly exceeded the production potential of the old factory located in Shahe Industrial Zone, Nanshan District, Shenzhen Jie Road, 502,503.

Responding quickly to the challenge, the MMC executives have purchased a state of the art production line facility located in Tech Park, Shi Huan Road, Bao’an district, Shenzhen. This newly established, environment-friendly industrial zone, with over 8000 square meters , a certified aviation school, a football field size testing area, and water/wind testing facilities, enables MMC to rapidly respond to all international orders as well as provide a cutting edge educational setting. The facility includes dorms for the visitors/students, a testing roof and a R&D department equipped with the latest UAV technologies.

Located in Bao’an Industrial District, a few miles from the consumer electronics giant, Huawei, the factory has convenient access to the main highway and is only several kilometers away from the Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport.

MMC’s rapid development goes hand in hand with the extraordinary development of Shenzhen, also known as the Silicon Valley of China. MMC along with DJI are leaders in both industrial and recreational drone development. The UAV clusters of Guangdong represent a corporate phenomenon and the center of the world’s unmanned aerial systems and vehicle development. Come and visit us here at MMC, Shenzhen, China, and witness the impossible!
