UAV Navigation-Grupo Oesía enhances Swarm And MUM-T capabili…

UAV Navigation-Grupo Oesía knows the importance of Multi-UAV operations for many different applications. These missions enable the operation of multiple systems simultaneously working in a coordinated way.

Multi-UAV is an operation in which multiple UAVs fly in the same airspace. In these missions, multiple UAS are operated from a GCS, where a single or multiple operators command and monitor the flight. Relying on a flight control system that includes these advanced capabilities has become a great tool for the development of unmanned aviation. The system is capable of controlling more than one aircraft safely from a single ground control station.

With the new improvements included in the UAV Navigation-Grupo Oesía flight control system, during a Multi-UAV mission, the UAVs will cooperate by sharing their state information with one another and with the ground control station. The operator will see the surrounding aircraft so that their situational awareness is enhanced.

The new capabilities enable UAV Navigation-Grupo Oesía customers execute swarm operations, coordinated flights, and open formation UAV flights with total flight safety.

Additionally, the visualization of every aircraft status during the Multi-UAV operation, together with the surrounding traffic display capabilities and the automatic collision avoidance algorithms during the swarming operation, create a cooperative framework that eases the performance of autonomous advanced UAV missions and the safe incorporation of unmanned aircraft into manned airspace.

UAV Navigation-Grupo Oesía continues to work on developing new capabilities that help UAS manufacturers execute more and more complex and demanding operations safely and efficiently, introducing new innovative technologies that make the unmanned industry a reality for widespread use alongside manned aviation.
