Police drones monitor SOP compliance in public areas

The police are now fully utilising drone technology to monitor and ensure that the standard operating procedures (SOP) set for the conditional movement control order (MCO) are being adhered to by the public.

Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), Air Operation (PGU) drone unit chief, Rasha Azaldin Shafii said public announcement and aerial surveillance of public areas were being carried out as part of the government’s efforts to curb the spread of Covid-19.
