Marshall Futureworx part of trio working to create robotic d…

Marshall Futureworx, sees.ai, and ISS Aerospace have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which will see the three companies work to create new autonomous robotic drone technologies for sectors including offshore renewable energy, defence and security, and nuclear decommissioning.

Marshall Futureworx is the venture building arm of the Marshall Group which includes Marshall Aerospace. The standalone team of highly creative engineering talent was established to leverage Marshall’s unique engineering skills, experience, and reputation to identify and develop a new generation of products and services that address existing and future challenges.

The MoU will result in Marshall Futureworx leading the development of a permanently deployed Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) autonomous drone solution which integrates the combined expertise, technologies, and capabilities of Marshall, sees.ai, and ISS Aerospace.

West Sussex-based sees.ai is developing an operating system that will unlock the safe operation of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) fleets at national scale. The drone technology provider is a pioneer in autonomous navigation and command-and-control software for BVLOS operations, providing aerial intelligence and enabling economies of scale for the use of drones in industrial applications.

ISS Aerospace is an industry-leading unmanned aerial system (UAS) provider specialising in cutting-edge design, manufacture and operations for a wide range of international customers in various sectors including energy, defence, security, utilities and surveillance. It is headquartered in Chieveley, Berkshire.
