Vadodara: The GSFC University on Friday signed a MoU with Garuda Aerospace, a Chennai-based startup specializing in developing low-cost drone solutions, related software and analytical tools.
The company has designed drones for 40 diverse applications including sanitization, agricultural spraying, mapping, delivery and surveillance. In 2021, students of GSFC University had started a drone development project to advance agriculture through drone technology.
The MoU was signed by B B Bhayani, CEO of GSFC’s University Incubation Innovation Technology and Applied Research council, Dr Vijaykumar Jones, chief operating officer of Garuda Aerospace. TNN

Russian Defence Ministry reported 51 drones shot down over Crimea, causing damage to Sevastopol’s power plant by Mikhail Razvozhayev.
