Maker Faire makes it’s New Zealand debut. A festival of curiosity and innovation for all-ages of dreamers, creators, scientists and makers, is being hosted by Capital E in November, the first time it’s been held in New Zealand.

Part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new, Maker Faire is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors.

The festival is taking over Queens Wharf, Shed 6 and Capital E on November 4 and attendees can expect anything from watching a robot showdown in the Stupid Robot Fighting League, learning the skills to make your own Star Wars R2-D2 or even sketching your dream pair of shoes with assistance from Wellingtons leading shoe-maker.
