Timed with the start of the InterDrone trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada USA,  SkyWatch.AI  a Drone insurance provider has announced three new partnerships that allow user to purchase drone insurance in a variety of ways.  A newcomer to the drone insurance space, SkyWatch.AI has a unique offering.  The provide on-demand drone insurance, on an hourly or monthly plan, combined with an artificial intelligence engine that provides feedback on pilot safety – and integrates a safe pilot discount into the price.

Map Pilot:  This integration enables Map Pilot users to purchase and manage on-demand insurance based on the flight area they are planning to survey, directly from the Map Pilot mobile app. Additionally, the flight telemetry is uploaded to the SkyWatch platform to analyze flight risk, and pilots are rewarded with lower insurance rates for practicing safe flight.  This is done by buying insurance directly from the Maps Made Easy mobile application.

This integration enables Drone Harmony’s pilots to share their planned flights with the SkyWatch platform and get insurance instantly based on the flight area that was created in the Drone Harmony Planner app.

DroneDeploy marketplace:  Skywatch.AI has joined the curated selection of applications for professional pilots offered through Drone Deploy’s application marketplace.  The integration allows pilots to purchase insurance for planned flights directly from Drone Deploy’s dashboard.
