DJI Offering Robotics Engineers Opportunity to Win $75Ok

DJI, the Chinese drone firm and organizer of RoboMaster, has opened registration for its annual robotics competitors RoboMaster 2018. The successful group will take dwelling a trophy and a grand prize price $75,000.

In a launch DJI describes RoboMaster as “an annual contest for teams of aspiring engineers to design and build next-generation robots to compete for supremacy on the RoboMaster battlefield. The competition has gained popularity among the engineering community, and the finale in front of a live crowd of more than 10,000 people has become an exciting and entertaining spectacle for the general public. The RoboMaster 2017 final competition generated more than 814,000 online views on Twitch.tv.”

RoboMaster groups encompass full-time school and college college students and their instructors. Non-students are allowed to be part of scholar groups as advisors. To encourage worldwide contributors and groups from abroad, RoboMaster will present technical and monetary help of up to $1,500 for groups that efficiently make it previous the proposal stage and into the second spherical.
