Thanks to the all new Voice Control feature, users are able to speak to the Mantis Q in order to have it snap a photo or begin recording video. This can be done without having to take ones hands off of the controls, and among the voice commands that it responds to include “Wake up” for powering on, “Take a picture”, “Record a video” and “Take a selfie.” In addition, it will also obey other flight commands such as “Take off” in order to automatically start flying, and “Return home” will see it perform an auto-landing.

Yuneec has also thrown in facial detection and gesture control, enabling it to snap a selfie or photo when you smile at the Mantis Q. This is effective from a range of 13 feet away, and when in Gesture Control mode, the Mantis Q can detect a hand waving and it will take a photo.
