Former FAA head, Michael Huerta joins ParaZero Advisory Boar…

ParaZero, the Tel-Aviv based drone recovery systems company announced today that former US FAA Administrator Michael Huerta has joined their advisory board.

Mr. Huerta was nominated by US President Barack Obama and finished out his five year term under President Donald Trump.  He finished his out his 5 year term on January, 2018.  The FAA is the US based agency responsible for the safety and efficiency for the largest aerospace system in the world.  The budget of the FAA is 16 Billion and has 45,000 employees.

“This represents a landmark achievement for ParaZero as Mr. Huerta holds over three decades of senior and executive management experience in the technology and aviation innovation industries. He most recently held the position of Administrator at the USA’s Federal Aviation Administration having been nominated for this position by President Barack Obama. Prior to this, he served as FAA Deputy Administrator. The FAA is responsible for the safety of the USA’s aviation industry and the operations of the National Airspace System. The agency has a US$16 billion budget and 45,000 employees.

Prior to this, Mr. Huerta was Group President of the Transportation Solutions Group of Affiliated Computer Services. He has held senior positions at the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the Olympic Winter Games of 2002, the U.S. Department of Transportation, the Port of San Francisco and the New York City Department of Ports, International Trade and Commerce.”

Commenting on Michael Huerta’s appointment, ParaZero’s CEO, Eden Attias, said:

Among other things, ParaZero  is currently involved in testing flights over people as part of the FAA testing centers in the US and other projects involving  IPP teams currently testing for commercial applications in the US.
