Visual Intelligence Partners with Gremsy for Drone Data Capture

Drone sensor and software automation platform Visual Intelligence and drone camera gimbal stabilizer manufacturer Gremsy have announced a partnership for the production of a multiple-axis gimbal able to carry a multiple-camera array for vertical data collection.

The partnership will grant customers the ability to quickly purchase engineering-grade sensors and deploy fleets of drones to collect data in volume, across hundreds or thousands of sites.

The two companies have worked to create a customized two-axis variant of the T3 gimbal compatible with Visual Intelligence’s MACS-3D array technology. This version of the T3 makes use of the advanced features and great compatibility with multiple drone platforms seen in previous versions, making it ideal for use with MACS-3D for data capture missions. It also boasts increased performance and optimal weight for the MACS-3D system, resulting in a comprehensive payload solution for use with drones like the M300. The partners also collaborated to improve upon the Gremsy SDK for increased integration with Visual Intelligence’s suite of software tools. Additional enhancements include quick-release for faster setup, interchangeable two and three-axis gimbal versions, high compatibility with various aircraft flight controllers and built-in advanced functions for industrial applications.
