Drone Training options expand with UAV Coach offering in-per…

Drone training has grown up,  with different strokes for different folks.  The range of options for individuals and corporations continues to grow from premier education institutions such as Embry-Riddle for undergraduate or graduate programs, other universities and colleges, and many good non-degree programs.

One new option is now being provided by Alan Perlman and his team at UAV Coach ,  designed to fill a niche between certification and getting flight experience on a tactical level.

In a recent press release,  UAV Coach announced new, in-person drone flight training classes, which are available across the Southeast United States. UAV Coach created the 90-minute, in-person class for drone pilots to gain hands-on flight time with an instructor, practice with intelligent flight modes, and build knowledge about unmanned aerial vehicle compliance and safety. Custom training is also available for companies looking to train their teams.

Classes are available in select cities throughout Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. More locations are expected to be added later this year.

The class is a new addition to UAV Coach’s existing drone training curriculum.

“Over the last two years, we’ve helped thousands of pilots get certified through our online test prep course,” says Alan Perlman, UAV Coach CEO & Founder. “And while flight proficiency isn’t part of the FAA certification process, enough students expressed interest in learning how to manage their sUAS flight operations that it made sense for us to start offering in-person flight training classes.”
