Despite – or maybe even because of -the current pandemic, drone industry investment continues to grow.  The latest announcement comes from Easy Aerial, a leading provider of autonomous drone-based monitoring solutions.  Easy Aerial announces a Series A round of $6.15 M, led by the same private investment group that funded Easy Aerial’s initial seed rounds.  “The oversold round, which was closed prior to its opening, also saw the participation of several new strategic investors,” says a company press release.

Easy Aerial’s solutions support fully autonomous airborne monitoring, a valuable tool for securing sensitive sites, protecting large events, and more.  The drone-in-a-box solution is developed to serve in the widest possible variety of environments: “Easy Aerial solutions are rugged, durable, all-weather capable, and designed to operate in the most inhospitable environments with little to no infrastructure support,” says the release.

Drone industry investment is increasing as government agencies and enterprise customers recognize the cost savings and increased safety that drones can achieve.  With both tethered and free flight solutions, Easy Aerial’s value proposition is clear: get aerial intelligence for monitoring purposes in any locations – without the need for on-site staff.   As customers realize how easy these solutions are to implement, demand is rising: Easy Aerial says they’ll use this latest investment to meet that demand.
