The First Gremsy Payload Zio

The first Gremsy payload will hit the shelves this month.  The Zio is a 4k resolution stabilized zoom payload for industrial applications.

Gremsy is known for their industry leading gimbal stabilizers for professional cameras and drones.  Zio is the first payload from the Vietnamese manufacturer: a tool designed to perform a variety of different inspection, surveying, and public safety jobs.

Zio is an integrated payload that combines a Sony 4k sensor with high-stabilized three-axis gimbal technology. It delivers powerful 30x zoom capability, lightweight design, and great compatibility with MAVLink – compliant platforms.

The Zio is optimized at 30x super resolution zoom, giving users access to hard-to-reach areas and a unique view of your objective. In addition, Zio features a Sony 4K 1/2.5″ Exmor R CMOS sensor, ideal for capturing superb 4k resolution video and images at a high level of stability, suitable for a wide range of demanding applications.

VIDEO STREAM OVER HDMI & ETHERNET

Zio enables video stream to your remote controller (with QGroundControl) via HDMI and Ethernet:

  • HDMI output: 1920 x 1080 (60p)
  • Ethernet output: H264 RTP at 1920 x1080 (60p)
  • Combine mode: HDMI output 1920 x 1080 (60p) & Ethernet output H264 RTP 1280 x 720 (60p)

MAVLINK SUPPORT

Fully compatible with MAVLink, Zio is ready to be seamlessly integrated with drones powered by PX4, Ardupilot. The Zio also gives users advanced control of the camera and gimbal from the remote controller.

Pricing and Availability

The Zio will be available this December 2022. Products will be sold at Gremsy’s online store.
