Primoco UAV to deliver complete system to Southeast Asia air…

Primoco UAV, Czech UAV manufacturer, has signed a contract to supply a new NAVAID calibration system. The innovative solution used by the reliable Primoco UAV One 150 UAVs is being purchased by the Malaysian company GIAAN GROUP. GIAAN plans to use the system which is suitable for the inspection, calibration and evaluation of a variety of airport navigation equipment such as ILS/VOR/DME/TACAN/COM, as well as visual tools such as PAPI/VASI, to perform calibration missions at airports in the Southeast Asia region. The value of the contract, including two One 150 UAVs, amounted to EUR 3.7 million.

While existing UAV calibration solutions typically use miniaturized hardware that does not always handle actual transmitter and receiver data, Primoco UAV One 150 carries the identical calibration and measurement equipment as manned platforms. This significantly reduces the cost of the precise ICAO standard output that customers require from air navigation calibration missions,” describes Ladislav Semetkovský, CEO of Primoco UAV SE.
