Optelos and Skydio form Technology Partnership for Autonomous Asset Inspection

Today, asset inspection software provider Optelos and drone manufacturing and autonomous flight leader Skydio have announced a technology partnership that will benefit customers using drones to enhance their asset inspection programs.

Pairing Optelos’ visual data management and AI power analytics platform with Skydio’s autonomous drone technology will increase the speed and efficiency at which companies conducting asset inspections are able to address issues identified through imagery gathered by drone.

Users of Skydio autonomous drones are able to effortlessly upload data to the Optelos platform directly from the drone. The platform then rapidly analyzes and acts on that data.  The integration of Optelos vision AI and automated dispatch capability enables full automation of the entire process, significantly cutting down on cost and time.

The Optelos platform is also capable of creating digital twins of inspected assets and conducting comparison analyses to identify changing and degrading conditions over time.
