Making the Move from Recreational Pilot to Part 107

If you’ve ever thought about making the move from recreational pilot to Part 107 licensed drone operator, now is your chance to ask all of your questions!  Join us on October 30th from 4-6 pm EST, for AUVSI NC and DRONELIFE’s monthly Let’s Talk Drones session.

During this month’s session, the focus will be a discussion on the recreational and commercial uses of drones: and how to transition from recreational pilot to Part 107 operator.

Let’s Talk Drones is a virtual event hosted on the last Friday of every month.  This event is free and open to all.  AUVSI membership or local affiliation is not required.  During the event, a panel of pilots and experts discuss the focus topic and audience members have the opportunity to ask any questions they wish of the panel.  As leader Darshan Divakaran says, “If we can’t answer your question, we’ll find someone to ask who can!” Let’s Talk Drones is a perfect opportunity to get answers to all those issues you’ve wanted to address.

“Every Commercial Pilot is a Recreational Pilot, but not every Recreational Pilot is a Commercial Pilot,” says the event page. “Join us as we discuss about how to take your love for drones and make it a business. What’s better than just flying drones? Its making money flying drones, helping save lives and get operations done faster & safer. Hear from the people who took their love for drones to the next level. Join us for this informal session and bring as many questions are you like.”

With contactless delivery on the rise, major enterprises growing. their drone programs, and more and more major businesses adopting drone programs, now is the time to move from recreational pilot to Part 107 licensed drone operator – and find your dream job.  Register here for free access to this monthly virtual event, held this Friday October 30 from 4-6 pm EST:
