Join Dawn and special guests Parimal Kopardekar (“PK”) of the NASA Ames Research Center & the FAA’s “Drone Guy” Kevin Morris as they reflect on the accomplishments of 2022 and look ahead to what we might expect to see in 2023! This episode is the final one in the 2022 Volatus Aerospace Corp. Above & Beyond Series!

Kevin Morris, a subject matter expert on UAS operations, coordinates UAS communications for the Federal Aviation Administration. Previously, he worked in the FAA’s Flight Standards Service, developing regulations, policy and programs for UAS. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation, from St. Cloud State University, an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, Remote Pilot Certificate and is a Certified Flight Instructor.

Parimal Kopardekar (PK) is the Director of NASA Aeronautics Research Institute (NARI): responsible for new research and trends in autonomy, aeronautics manufacturing, and advanced air mobility.  He is also NASA’s senior technologist for Air Transportation Systems and principal investigator for the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Traffic Management (UTM) project.
