Drone Jobs: Skyports Drone Services Initiates Major Hiring Programme in UK and Singapore

Skyports Drone Services has initiated its Hub Operator Programme, a major employment programme for the recruitment of personnel to support drone operations in new and existing markets. The programme is seeking applicants who are willing to travel for extended periods of time.

Skyports Drone Services launched the programme in order to develop operational support and expertise throughout its major markets for 2023, including Colombia, UAE, the UK, Kenya and Korea. The growth of the drone industry necessitates new expertise and capabilities in order for drone operations to be realized and scaled – which means more drone jobs.

Applicants who are accepted into the programme will collaborate with the company’s experienced drone pilot team to support flight operations. Roles that Hub Operators will perform include: assisting management and set up of flight hubs to allow for safe and efficient landings and departures; executing key checklists necessary to the safe operation of Skyports Drone Services’ aircraft; and situational awareness support. Applicants will receive thorough training and guidance for the duration of the programme in order to guarantee they meet the company’s safety standard.

Suitable candidates should be available for at least three months throughout the year and will be required to travel one to eight weeks at a time. Following the programme, applicants will also receive opportunities to explore permanent roles in the business.
